Setting up before dawn was definitely worth the work. I was immediately marking walleye on the sonar. At first light two large Bluegill were caught that ended up as great table fare. throughout the day several perch were caught in the area of 10 inches and what would qualify them as "footballs" due there size as well as dozens more ranging in size. Three pike were caught that day as well as marking a pike close to the mythical 40 inch mark. Although several walleye were hooked into only one was able to hit the ice.
Total fish count (2 anglers): 1 walleye, 3 pike and the amount of perch caught were lost track of 40-50 est.
